Inspired by the Nap Ministry and Tricia Hersey's book "Rest is Resistance, Justin Favela and Dr. Erika Gisela Abad talk about what they’ve learned about resting, healing, and toxic work cultures in this return episode of Art People Podcast. Abad, after years of writing and interviewing artists, reflects on what she/they learned about balancing higher ed and guest curator work as she transitioned from being Faculty-in-Residence at UNLV to Assistant Prof of Communications. Favela discusses his latest performance about rest at the National Hispanic Cultural Center and his new book (now available!).
